About Bare Naked Theatre

The Bare Naked Theatre Inc is a Busselton based professional theatre company committed to developing regionally based performing arts in the South West.  Bare Naked Theatre is a not for profit company.

The history of the “Bare Naked ” name reflects the company ethos of focusing on the actors and the stories rather than special effects.

Bare Naked has recently been developing an annual Statewide tour with Perth company, Class Act Theatre, who have a wonderful track record of performing curriculum texts in and for school audiences.

Bare Naked is also planning the inaugural Western Australian Shakespeare Festival to be staged in Busselton in June 2008.     As well as performances of Macbeth and The Canterbury Tales,  there will be master Classes, educational workshops and cash prizes for a “ Battle of the Bards” competition.

The opening of a small drama school in Busselton is planned for the second half of 2008.
